Why would they include the death of Han? The whole point of Obi-Wan's sacrifice is that Luke wouldn't have left without him, so instead he decided to let Vader kill him and continue helping Luke in the after life.
Han got killed for pretty much nothing. He could've survived but he went after his evil son, it wasn't as if they weren't going to blow the place up without his sacrifice.

They could have shown that cut scene and then have her and Finn fight Kylo. Its the whole reason she calls Kylo a monster
I really wish they had not kept a full 7* team requirement, especially since the vets aren't important for the late story. Ideal setup for storyline progression 5* vet han, 6* vet chewie and bb8, 7* rey and finn. But they didn't change anything after lots of feedback for CLS. TBH CLS requirements should have been more like Rey's given how OP and plug and play he is. Rey's should have been more like CLS and not required two new characters to complete.
