I'm new to this game, and I really love it!
I'm curious in which character i should invest early on as leader, and which team is the best to start with?

I think Hera with Phoenix squad is good to start with. I used to use Phasma as leader for the extra attacker she could call. I went with Phasma, Fives, Dooku, Imperial Guard and Ahsoka. They moved me up the squad arena pretty well to start but I think Phoenix is better now days. Plus they are versatile. They are needed for Thrawn and you can use them to get the Emperor too. Phoenix is Hera, Kanaan, Ezra, Zeb, Sabine and Chopper. With chopper being better for Thrawn than Sabine.

Sabine is the only one on Phoenix squad that's difficult to farm.

Great squad I use them in the mid to late 60s.
