Light Side, Dark Side. Why not Neutral?
For me I think it would be interesting for some characters to have a neutral side so they can work on both battles/territory.
We saw the clones completely betray the Jedi so why could they not work on an execute order 66 like lead on the dark side.
Certain bounty hunters and scoundrels work purely for the highest bidder. And as seen with DJ in The Last Jedi believe there is no such thing as good/bad. Lando sold out Han Solo to Boba Fett.
The Jawa go around stealing droids.
I'm sure there are arguments for many more in the current roster and potential future too.
