Are there any character diverse guilds?
Seeing as the only point of guilds at the moment is to have a social group and borrow heroes, I'm wondering if there is any guild of players who went for their favorite characters instead of the meta?
I personally have Clone Sergeant, Ahsoka, and Asajj at level 70 gear 8 and just working on some stars, among other commonly ignored characters. I'm in the mindset that I can't be bothered spending months farming for Geonosian Soldier and such (now if you actually like the Geonosians awesome! But I'm betting most got him for meta).
I also figure it'd be fun to have a group where we can share all these other high power characters that we'd never see in the wild.

For example I have created a full Nightsister team and next I'll be creating a full Resistance team.
As far as people just using the heroes they like and not following the meta, I don't think that's a very large percentage of the total player base.
Thanks. I really don't see why not, though. Especially because the extra crystals from Arena aren't all that great opposed to dropping a few tiers with any group of 7* characters, plus less hassle trying to time you arena matches just right. And for Galactic War which is far more important in my opinion due to credits, all you need is a few healers and then any other strong characters.
Can't believe I'd be the only one to focus on characters I enjoyed from media rather than simply farming the meta like the everyone else. Especially because eventually the meta will get nerfed and you'll end up with characters you don't really care about with lots of resources put into them.
Still going to hope there's others like me. Perhaps my best bet is just waiting for other's to finish maxing out the boring meta so they can focus on fun characters.

About me: I'm P2P . I've spent less than $100 on the game though. I've been top 10 in my server for a good time with a 24K power team. However I have the opportunity to make a whole lot better team.

You sound like a great player. I have a max Koth, poggle, boba, lumi, IG 86, phasma, and i'm working on more but I have a lot of 6 stars. If this sounds good to you then just send me a message. We're now 4 members instead of just me, but we want to keep that number growing with a diversity of levels not just all high ranked people. This way we can help the little guy out and grow together. Let me know if you're interested. I also went for the people I liked way more than the meta. Lol i would level up my dooku and now he is slowly leaning towards the meta which was neat.
