Credits are at an all time low, and this only exacerbates the issue. Let us sell back our useless 100's of extra gear, no matter what the credit return we should at least have the option to do so!
I would be surprised if they do bring it back anytime soon. There is a reason they harmed the community more than helped the community on the removal of selling gear and on the "events are going to get better" but instead became even more useless. They need the credit crunch until more content is created. Right now it's the way they can slow down leveling and gearing characters. It is also the way they can make money as a lot of whales and dolphins find chromium packs not worth the purchase as they only get extra shards. With credits being extremely stingy in game people purchase crystals to buy credits. I would bet money the credit pack purchases has gone up tremendously since they did these two changes. It's very beneficial to them but at the detriment to the community. Once more content is in game and they give players a new reason to spend money then this may change. Until then expect the need for credits to get worse with level cap raises.
