    Don't know, probably in favour of tarkin (otherwise you wouldn't have mentioned it).
    I don't think it will make that much of a difference though. If one of them is squishy, the other is aswell.

    Palps has over 52k in protection with his Unique zeta’d and 30k in Health. Not to squishy. Throw in some crit immunity from Shore and he’s pretty solid. After more testing JTRey destroys this team once her TM spins up. I’ve run over 30 arena battles with these new reworks and they are underwhelming. I have maxed and zeta Krennic, zDT, zPalps, zVader, TFP, zSaxon and a zIPD. I’m open to suggestions on what else to try, but very disappointed.

    The rework is great, i'm doing very well!!!

    Runnin: zzPalp, zzVader, zThrawn, Shore and Tarkin. Grand moff is the key to make that squad even better. I'm so excited to finally run a full viable DS squad.

    Got to first with no problem at all. And holding way better on defence than using jRey. That's because NS can't beat it even on offense.

    My video recording is not working properly, but i took pictures how it's the final of the battle against meta teams. None of them stand a chance!!

  • I went to bed at 15,dropped to 31..Im running zzThrawn lead,Vader(z lead only),palp(z unique only)Shore,and zDT...I mostly just pick on nightsister teams bc they dominate the top 20 in my shard and are alot easier to beat.

    How much better is Tarkin than DN? I've been running DN in that 5 spot but I can also see DT, Tarkin, and SA filling in nicely

    Shenanigans! A couple undergeared/modded people couldn't beat a JTR team so the rework obviously ****!

    This! Straight empire makes this rework shine. Not saying other comps don't, but this holds best on defense it seems as well as strong offense.

    Edit: I use an almost identical team... my 5th has been in flux, but I think I'm gonna switch to tarkin.

    @Olddumper I tried other comps, Nihilus or Kenobi, they are not the best option. There's a lot of foresight around, u might need 3/4/5 turns to trigger Nihilus annihilate. Shore start taunt makes Rey debuff him first wich is good, because then Thrawn cleans him for another taunt and he gives 15% TM to empire.

    Against JRey u need most speed and TM gain posible. I think Tarkin is the trick, he's faster, gain more TM from allies, aeo can hit very hard if u hold for a few turns and those debuffs are the juicy part for Palp and Vader. Grand Moff inflict 2 debuffs, wich means 20% TM per enemy for the double trouble duo Palp/Vader, so they will attack a lot more!! >:)

    Tested DT, his cooldwns are good and death mark as well, but gonna take some turns to activate that special. A pure and fast attacker would by far be the best, that's why i think Marauder might fit there.

    Hmm, For me DN can get himself ready by the time RJT comes out of stealth. Shock holds down the taunts and then I blow her up. I do think using Tarkin with holding his AOE would be fun. I'll try it out this weekend. In 2 weeks I will probably switch to Wampa and IPD anyway if more news doesn't come out.
  • @Olddumper Didn't thought about SA, gonna try if speeds up things for Nihilus.

    My Wampa is 6* g11, i think he's kind of slow, needs a zeta to take advantage of those Vader's dots. Didn't had success using him

    The fact that your shardmates Zombie can be fractured is a big reason he lost. Go against a weak zombie and it’s a whole different story.

    No it's not. I run a weak zombie and I can't beat these new empire teams in arena
  • I stomped a few palp/vader teams, and then lost terribly to one who clearly knew what he was doing. The problem isn't the rework, people. If you're not having success with it, you don't know what you're doing. Stop blaming cg for your strategic weaknesses. Remember when the entire community was furious about how useless jtr is? Couple weeks later, she's everywhere, and unbeatable by many comps. Make the proper upgrades, and try out various strategies before jumping to conclusions. A hammer can only strike as hard as it's swung.

    Interesting squad. However, without DN there isn't a dispel. If you run up against GK, don't you just get stuck behind his constant taunting?

    thrawn's fracture dispels and keeps GK in check.

    @AlexanderG no problem at all! I fight everyday against jedi Rey teams with double tanks like these: kenobi/old ben/Poe/st han, many combinations. Tarkin will make all squad hit like a wet noodle with his debuffs, so Thrawn fracture one tank and u work on the other, Commonly Palp will stun some enemies and it goes very well.

    Plus the tank will have offense down, crit damage down, speed down, 2/3 dots, shock and ability block at least all these debuffs, Vader culling blade will hit for sure above 50k, so with low protection it's gone around second or third turn.

    That's why i say Nihilus is not a good option, with so much TM/speed gain around, u need may need many turns until trigger anihilate and he's slow. And overall this empire/sith team is kind of weak. I kill enemy BB8 and almost all squad before he activate iluminated or things will go very tough.
