Why does he not have the imperial trooper tag? Seems like an imperial trooper to me...gar Saxon too for that matter.

They BOTH need the tag. Doesn't make sense that they don't.

I think it has to do with them being Mandalorians who are loyal to the Empire. As such, they are auxiliary units that maintain their own chain of command and rank structure, but fought alongside the Empire. They rely on their own Mandalorian training which makes them unique from the imperial troopers who receive their training at imperial academies. To me, it’s like the Hessians in the British Army during the American Revolution.

that makes sense. I’ve only seen a couple episodes of rebels so I don’t know much about that. I just figured that they were imperial and looked like troopers. Would be nice to use them in the probe droid mission though.
