Cycle of Pain/Cycle of Suffering

So, maybe it's a stupid question, but if my toons get inflicted with the cycle of pain/suffering, do my toons also gain the +Offense or is it only Sion who gains that? Anyone have a strategy for handling this? I had been thinking of just trying to remove the stacks before they hit 5, but if my toons also gain the advantage, then is it really the TM Sion gets that leads to this being bad news for me?

Reading is good. You and sion both gain increased damage(At different rates) and he gains counter attack as well per stack. Leave stacks on heavy hitters and cleanse others
