I'm planning to run First Order (no I don't care about meta)
but my FO is still pretty far from complete, while my Kylo is pretty high geared.
Should I zeta my Kylo now or put it on KRU?

KRU’s leadership zeta should be your first one. Kylo’s zeta isn’t that big a deal. It used to be popular because you could use it to solo Phase 1 of HAAT, but it’s not that important for the squad. KRU’s leadership is most important, and his unique is also very useful since it gives him pre-taunt. I actually think FOST and FOTP have better zetas for their unique than Kylo.
