If the leader dies, on next battle the leader bonus remains?

I think no but not 100% sure. Someone else on the team might become leader instead.

I'm sure if a leader dies and the next person becomes leader would have it's issues, because it would now matter what order you put your characters into the team

The leader ability does not carry over to the next battle if the leader is killed.

It's working in same way as in GW, if you kill leader, no lider abilities anymore. Simple.

I am sure. I've fought mop up battles where the leader is dead and the ability definitely is not active.
