Unfair Galactic War Matches

Ok, I read the description and understand that it is suppose to be a challenge and the matches increase in difficulty as you cross the board. I am currently level 49 and on my 4th fight I face off against of team of level 58.

Seriously? How is that even fair? I can't even get half way across the board.

I'm in the same boat. I've completed 3 now, but am typically against High 40's(when I was low) now 50's as I'm mid.
