Your RNG is terrible

You know you're going to miss everything in a fight if you miss the first one. Like if my first target lock lands they all do, if I miss the first they all miss.

The RNG isn't providing a good distribution along the range. It's always on one end of the range.

This is ruining the game experience

Yes..... Because missing a target lock frequently couldn't have anything to do with the opposing squad's mods right?

Actually probably not, since mods don't matter beyond the level and number of dots...

I would hope every pilot you're facing has 15 level 5 dot mods.

I thought pilot's stats applied to the ship no?

Not for mods. All that matters is mod level and number of dots.

Missing your first target lock can be overcome. If I lost every battle I missed a target lock I would be 0-5 every night.

I would rage more at the difference of damage ouput - all things being equal - between O and D. My biggs never survives the first wave when the enemy biggs is doing quite well after receiving the same attacks from the exact same ships

Where do you finish every day and what's your fleet?

My point is that if I miss the first I miss 90% of them, against all targets. If I land the first one, then it will succeed that battle 90% of the time.

The range distribution is fubar in the RNG.

thats kinda the point. you are saying its wrong but offering no counter to what they are putting forth as sound.

Whilst the claim of missing all TLs if the first misses is a bit ridiculous, this thread just ties in with the others that show ships are an RNG nightmare.

Ships are being updated, so I'm happy to no longer whinge about it.

    Could almost merge/close this tbh

Or they're just players who think you're wrong. Not making a claim that's over the top would probably result in less people disagreeing with you though.
for example: The first target lock in a fleet battle has too much of an impact on the outcome of the match, because of that RNG plays too big of a role in the fleet arena.
over exaggerating to prove a point usually leads to people challenging your claims. Calling people keyboard warriors from behind a keyboard is hilarious btw, great contribution to this useless forum ;)

Then don’t use the forums. I honestly find your posts more terrible than the RNG which you claim is terrible.
