I am currently 75 almost 76 by a small margin I do only the 50 shards cost for story nodes and only the 100 shard cost for cantina battles every day I am active

There are a few factors that affect your progress.

How many refreshes do you do?
Do you catch all the free energy each day?
And achievements you may hit. They are the best focus of you are trying to level up fast

525 cantina energy per 24 hours with 3 refreshes.
735 normal energy per 24 hours with 3 refreshes.

1260 energy per day = 1260 xp per day.
Then add in the xp from doing all the daily challenges (I can't see them right now so I can't add it up).

Also factor in the free energy you get upon leveling up.

Do the math and get a rough guess. It's gonna be a while still. You need about 135,000 exp to get to 85 from 76.

I don't think achievements actually grant xp, so I didn't include them.

is 50 shard crystal for the story mode really 3 refresher per day?

Well you can refresh story energy as many times as you like - but the cost goes up every 3 times,
So 50, 50, 50, 100, 100, 100, 150 etc. And you get 120 energy every time.

Cantina is similar, but starts at 100. So 100, 100, 100, 200, 200, 200, 300 etc.
