TW - This battle is no longer available bug

A guildmate had an issue where he was in a TW battle and mid-way through a match received a message that the battle was no longer available. He was booted from the match but the opposing team was still there at full strength and he had lost his squad.

Has anyone had that happen before?

This is troublesome especially since a TW match can hinge on one or two instances of that and mean all the difference.
