Chimera question

Anyone else experience this...

You’re running chimera as you cap ship. Thrawn g12, well modded. Cap ship maxed in every sense. Your oppent is running almost identical squad ... opponent uses phylon ability, nukes your team, massive damage, you use yours and do almost NO damage. This happens every day, and i want to know why????

I have also noticed this from time to time, not sure what or why. It is probably built in to make up for the terrible decisions the AI makes defending

Most likely it involves a combination of Thrawn benefiting from his own doubled crit chance up and enemy armor.
