Sith Raid phase one, the first shield

Hi guys, I’ve a simple question but i still can’t find the answer. I’d like to know on what (stat?) depends the position (on the pg) of the first shield at the beginning of phase one Thx!

RNG. No rhyme or reason. You can restart the raid, use the exact same team, do the exact same moves, and the target to get shield will always be random.

first shield is on the character with the most health+protection (after bonusses). The next ones are random.

If the OP means the freebie shield to appear on a PC when entering the raid, then yes, that shield is given to the formula mentioned.

I took the question to be the first shield upon kill of the support NPC. Good catch, Leef.
