Territory wars - Phoenix squad

For Territory wars i noticed bunch of guilds put lots of Phoenix squads for defense. I was wondering why ? Are phoenix squads the best squads for defense ??

The AI handles them very well and they are natural survivors, so they tend to recover well and 2 taunts to pull and force target changes.

Not the best but very solid but most keep their better teams for offence.

A lot of people have Phoenix knocking around for Thrawn and they can be a pain to beat as the AI has little to work with and taunt tennis between Kanan and Chopper can let Ezra and Zeb do their thing in peace.

Due to the lack of refreshes they can tie up enemy teams and hurt them enough to make the attacking much weaker.
