Could I beat Thrawn woth good RNG?

As the title states, I've been trying all day for Thrawn 7* (obviously who hasn't if they don't already have him). And I have been looking over posts and seeing that people have been able to do it with stats far worse than mine with little trouble. I can always get a DT and the ST down, but then the commanders just heal everyone up to full and TM starts going crazy in Thrawn's favor every time. https://swgoh.gg/u/vericthemaster/squads/106732/ does anyone think I'll be able to be it with the squad I currently have? All my mods are my Arena mods, I just wanna finish it asap so I can move on with my farming plan.

Well, I'm no expert by any means. And I haven't attempted 7* Thrawn yet (Zeb will be 7* in a couple days). But my first thoughts are: 1) levels are way too low, you should be at level 85 across the board; and 2) who's your leader? Surely not Ezra?

Maybe. You'll need some more levels, get better mods (too slow on Hera) and max them out.

That's my squad and I still haven't done it (mind you Kanan has only just got G9). Closest I got is down to Thrawn......once. I don't have the omegas you do though as I only hit 80 yesterday. So you could do it but prepared for a long sit down.

Helpful answer: more speed on them(over 200), make sure their abilities are omegas. People seem to think that they should be able to unlock a toon at g8. Nope taking Ezra to g10 will allow you to get Thrawn though. Timing up the TM so its near max before the final round, kanan taking the fractures and the kill order are all also important. If all else fails and youre refusing to gear them up, put a zeta on Kanan

You just need a faster hera and chopper and you’ll be fine with a little bit of good rng. I did it with those https://swgoh.gg/u/johnaran/squads/27883/ so as you can see, g8 is enough and lvl 85 are not needed. With my arena mods which are not great.

Update, I managed to beat it after I upgraded Zeb to Gear 9. Mods, abilities, and otherwise were still all exactly the same at the time I beat it. So clearly it was entirely plausible and Speed wasn't an issue at all if you can play to the strengths of Phoenix. Hera and Chopper ended up being the only 2 that fell I the whole mission and basically the whole mission Hera was either fractured or dead lol. Chopper was up about 75% of the way through.

Hera was still level 74 btw as well lol apparently speed is of no issue if you're smart.

Managed to get him down to a pixel of health left.........sadly I was on a pixel of health left too. He drew first.

That run was RNG blessing me. Usually I ragequit as soon as Zeb goes down (literally first minute usually) or he fractures anybody who isn't Kanan.

Oh and CG, could we NOT have the trash mobs beforehand maybe? It's a sufficient challenge without misleadingly easy trash to deal with first.

Take all abilities to 7, omega hera's leadership. Level them all to 85. You need your absolute best mods on them. I modded Kanan just for protection, made Hera and chopper super fast, crit chance on Ezra, health and protection on Zeb. It took three hours of retries but I eventually got good RNG. You have better gear on them than I did so you can do it.

RNG is insanely important in thrawn’s event, since the difficulty really hikes up unlike palpatine/ yoda. Here’s my guide if you need some help on the bare minimum and good rng rolls
