Dumb question re: servers

I keep seeing ppl talking about what server they're on, and if they're up against easy or hard teams (or cheaters!) because of it. How do you know what server you're on? Why would I care?

You really don't know which one you are on. I think every 20k people that start playing are on a Squad Arena server together.

Ideally everyone on the server will progress at similar rates. It would be off balance for someone starting today to be put on a server with someone who started at game launch.

Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks! The way people talk about it, I wondered if there was a magic button to click that says where you are.

It is usually identified by who the top 10 are.

E.g. my server is
John
Bob
Luke
James
Mol Eliza
Ricky
Mol Eliza
etc
