This character was made as close as possible to the strengths of the droid General Kalani in the TV Series, Star Wars Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.

I put away the uniting of separatists because that's the General Grievous rework's purpose and having a TV series character no one really knows or perhaps care about steal that limelight Grievous is soon to have, I don't think would have impressed many players.
Secondly, I wanted Kalani to stay away from being put as a leader and more of a solid support role, the passive turn meter gain was to remove HK-47's role as needing to be leader. The protection recovery was meant for the implementation (hopefully) of droidekas which will have high protection in their kit.
The forceful taunting unique was also to improve IG-100 and I agree from any criticism, it is a stretch, because the role of tanks is still obscure for separatists, despite having L3-37 who doesn't do separatists much good other than heal right now.
