Challenges gear in Hstr rewards

Didn't it get announced that daily challenges gear would no longer be given out in Hstr or haat?

We did get info of what's to come, but w/o a timeline. They will also include slicing materials in rewards, but none of that is live. Idk when will it go live, no specification in dev posts either.
