Ship Synergy?

I was looking at Biggs as I'm starting an all rebel team, it says he has built in ship synergies. Does anyone know what this means?

    In your home screen in game, there's a table somewhere behind the GW table, and a bit to the right. You'll see the falcon and slave ships there. Not sure how it will work or anything but I hope the introduce it soon as some new content
