I assume it was fake outrage because people wanted free stuff.
Because in SBCrumb’s original dev post on sept 20th, the title said “starts tomorrow” and also said “runs from September 21st...” when they didn’t start until the 22nd. You can even see the strikeout edit in the post.
Patch notes from the 19th hotfix mentioned the 22-26 dates which is where some of the confusion comes from.
I spent my energy because I didn’t want to max it out and definitely didn’t want to be up when the event started (I play the game, the game doesn’t play me) so I missed out on a couple sims.
I figure this cost me one shard, maybe two.

I don’t know why you would expect drops when you don’t see it displayed anywhere. It doesn’t matter what dates are written anywhere - if it’s there you will see it.
