R2 D2 Event Team??

Here are my empire toons. I need advice on best team.

1. Can I get 7* without a tank, ie. Palp, Vader, Tarkin, TFP, Thrawn
2. Can I get 7* without Vader ie. Palp, Storm Trooper, Tarkin, TFP, Thrawn
3. Best leader for event?
4. Gear level recommended?

Vader needs 20 shards, I haven't bought his pack so that's an option but would be a waste cause he is so close. ST needs gear and levels to bring him up to snuff.

Go with option 1, try and have everyone g9..... .and sure you go into the final battle with fracture ready for R2......

Best lead is definitely Palpatine.

I am getting ready for my first R2D2 event too.
Team will be EP, Vader, Thrawn, GMT and ST.
What are the best mod sets for each of the characters?

Both 1 and 2 will work. If you have EP (best lead IMO) and Thrawn, it pretty much doesn’t matter which other 3 Empire toons you have in there.

Gear 8 is ideal. You can probably get away with a couple G7s in there too.

EDIT - I just looked at your characters in the link...you’re more than fine with what you have, even with the G6 Stormtrooper.
