Toons to put around Yolo

Since Yolo gets his bonuses by starting the turn with Prot Up, it seems to me that other toons that apply Prot Up would be useful to get that bonus more often. But I'm not sure how to find them. What toons, if any, can apply Prot Up to him?
Otherwise, what teams is he normally run in?

ATF, GMY, Zeb, Kanan, and Vandor Chewy can all give him protection up, but that would be a terrible team to use him with. Try using him with the other prepared characters, or a hybrid team of scoundrels/smugglers.

Ignore the prot up part and just put a scoundrel team around him.

If the opportunity comes to use vandor's special on him, yolo doesn't have to take a turn to use his buff. Getting prot up on him isnt what teams are usually built around

Yeah, get him prepared first. Then it doesnt matter what his speed is because he will assist scoundrels 70% of the time. Prepared first, then his speed special.

The standard Solo toon team is actually really really solid: Qi'ra (L), Vandor, Yolo, Yando, and L3.

Ignore yolo. He is the weakest of the scoundrels.

yando is who you want.

Hot hand hits for 100k plus under qira lead. Not to mention Lando makes OTHER scoundrels prepared. Better than Embo for damage. Clense gives stealth and speed. His ship hots for over 100k. Harder than silencer or poe.

Yolo only fits in hatt.

Yolo makes other scoundrels prepared in pretty much the same way as yando does.
