Get them to max level to easier land and resist debuffs. Don't underestimate the power of mods. Use your very best mods. Gearwise they should be ok. However, you can stockpile gear, omegas etc. to apply them if necessary during the event.

Gear seems fine, but you will want to swap good mods to them to get them faster.
