Grand Arena Quad Territory Defense

So I’m preparing for my first Grand Arena with a quad-based territory defense... the other two I did were only 2 territories.
Does the offender have to defeat the 2 frontline territories before being able to attack the two rear territories?
The answer will effect who I assign to which territories - thanks!

Do the frontline territories have to be overtaken before the opponent can advance to the rear territories?
Whether we can hit any of the sections or we have to advance section by section like in TW has a drastic effect on the strategy.
Also, if it is like in TW, will the teams in the 2nd section be visible before the 1st section has been cleared?
