Why does Grand Arena need to be run Separate from TW and TB?

Why can't they run are the same time? GA only takes ten minutes a day to play. It's a super slow moving game mode. Why not just run one a week? Or every other week and have the regular tw/tb schedule? I would much rather be doing TB/TW over GA.

Apparently they can't do the roster snapshots for GA and TW at the same time. I don't know how that affects TB or why we might only have one this month, but it sucks.

As they said, this is not a final schedule, they are still trying to work out the details.

My guess is they would rather build up to a full steam rather than cram it all in and stress people out.

I am all for separating GA and TW, who knows what could go wrong if they didn't. Given their track record, we might end up being able to use some characters twice in both and others not at all. Or everything breaking down totally...
That said, the decision to skip DS TB this month sucks. TB doesn't interfere with GA so there is no excuse.

It's super annoying that they cannot communicate clearly on the official forums and it's left to [REDACTED] users like me to tell everyone that they already said (on reddit) that they will be doing the DS TB too, it's just not in the calendar yet.

Thanks for the info, any reason why they didn't put it in the calendar? Are there some changes coming up that they need tested before it goes live or something?

You'd have to go look at the official (why?) response on reddit but it was something about....oh I don't even remember. It doesn't matter, it's all a bunch of the usual non-communication.

IMO TW and GA should be run separate. TB should be the independent one. Then the roster lock isn’t an excuse. TB is stale. It needs to become simmable like GW after it’s completed so many times. I love the TB rewards, but other than that I hate when it’s running. It’s a chore.

If it needs to be simmable you need to be able to auto it, so it shouldn't be a chore.

Why? It's basically a coin toss whether you get matched with a stronger or weaker opponent. If weaker, you spend a few minutes beating their teams for better rewards, and if stronger, you can finish some battles for the credits or give up altogether. And in the rate case when you are evenly matched, it's actually quite fun.
