Amidst all the angst, may a suggest a potentially better idea that will produce positive results within the player base. Make the monthly territory war a battle on a certain homeworld. Eg geonosis or Mancala (underwater world) where ackbar and kit fisto would get bonuses etc. That would be way fun and consistent with Star Wara universe.

Or pick a certain battle that happened in the movies or shows and make the factions that fought in said battle get bonuses

They said this is only one of many formats they have planned for TW. We don’t know what the other formats are. I’m sure the upcoming format probably won’t last past the next 2 TWs given all the tears.
