Assist Characters Problems

Maybe this was asked previously on another post, still i want to ask.
i have 32 allys, and almost all of them are lev 70 and have other characters i dont have, when i have some time i farm bronzium pack coins, but seems like if i have only 5 to 6 allies, when i end using their heroes no more ally characters can be used... but i have more than 30 allies.
the other issue... other characters that can be picked are very weird, they are max level but poorly stared and geared... also i've seen 2*star barris and 1* or 2* star characters that unlock at 4*, i imagine those are computer generated players.
i wont complain about it, but its clearly wrong, you should take in consideration that those toons are a waste, they dont even help, do it with real player also that way we can have some free coins from players using our characters.
