Armour shred in phase 2

I’ve got a question that’s been hounding me,
Is there a fun team to use in phase 2 of the sith raid that uses both Zaalbar and Sabine? All that armour shred sounds fun. My guild doesn’t do heroic yet, so we’re more flexible with our teams to use. Any help would be appreciated!

    I use Qira Mission Z Young Han and Young Lando. Can replace Lando with Sabine but his cleanse and speed up are pretty useful. May be better to save Sabine for a rebel team.

    Stacks of armor shred have diminishing returns so it might not be worth it, depending how many stacks it takes before there's no real benefit.

    There isn't enough synergy to keep the team alive long enough to deal decent damage

    Great in Phase 1. Absolutely awful in P2 because she won't assist due to stacks of Pain which is considered as a debuff

    I think beyond about 3 stacks, there's not really a significant damage increase. Better to have two teams which can apply 1-2 stacks than one team which can apply 4

  • I tend to agree with the run two squads with one in each approach, and also with the observations that anything beyond 3 or 4 stacks of shred provides negligible returns.

    I run a g12 Kenobi swamp (GK lead, hoda, Wampa, Thrawn, Sabine) for 6-8% in heroic P2, and there really is no noticable difference in damage output from 3 stacks of shred to the occasional 8 or 9 stack run. Literally, Wampa miiiiiiight hit one or two thousand points higher on damage at the end of the run, but since he is usually hitting for 110k-125k by then you just can’t tell.

    (I also used to run the boba version of this team with very similar results, boba lead, hoda, Wampa, Sabine, Thrawn. It has a bit higher potential damage, but it is really hard to keep everyone alive until the late stages of the run, a high gear Zaalbaar swapped in for Sabine could provide the tankiness the team needs to shine though - but my boba has been reassigned to p3 for Bounty and the Beast)

    I also run (if hoda escapes from both Kenobi swamp and my still undergeared 3-4% Bastila/GMY/Ezra/QGJ/hoda or OB team runs) a low gear Machine Gun Leia team (ackbar g11, Princess Leia g11, Zaalbaar g7, Sun Fac g9, hoda/Jawa engineer g10) that with hoda alive and some decent RNG that Big Z survives long enough to land a second Armor shred can pull another 3% pretty dependably.
