Need some help...

Hey guys. I've been playing for a while, but I can't seem to get anywhere.

This is my list of characters: https://swgoh.gg/p/528329592/characters/ ,and I use F2P farming guide of 2018, but its taking longer than its should.

I'm currently working to get my Phoenix Squad to lvl 9 gear and 7 stars but what can I do in the meantime with the characters I've got?

You have the basics of a decent rebel squad outside phoenix. AA leads Biggs and your rogue 1 guys.
If also work on your empire for dark side - tarkin to lead Vader and tfp. Those 3 have some good turn meter control to win over stronger rivals.
But phoenix will get you thru GW to offer more shipments and credits
