So is Darth revan consider a hero?

Have they said? They gave the toon requirements but it doesn't say 7* like cls and jtr. Is he gonna be like a hero? Do we need 7* to get him or will be like a legendary and can be unlocked at 5*

All characters are considered to be heroes by CG, regardless if they were good or evil. It is just another term for a toon. Evident from the Grievous rework advert.
The ones being reworked were Grievous, B2, and Magnaguard, none of which would normally be considered heroes, showing that the term hero can apply to anyone.

To simplify: "Hero" is used by CG as a synonym for "character."

It's "Galaxy of Heroes" not "Galaxy of Heroes and Villains"

The classical definition of hero is just an individual with exceptional prowess, there was no moral connotation. So yes, all the factions have heroes.
