They just released these gear pieces, specifically as a (dastardly) way of forcing people to spend additional money, they aren't going to add them to daily challenges.

That’s the nightmare I am thinking of, every toon that will be release will need to have both -.-
I don't think every new toon will require them, but every new game-changing toon will. Any toon that they expect people to spend a lot of money on will probably use these pieces, maybe even at multiple gear levels just like Darth Revan. It's absolute garbage, imo. As if gearing up characters wasn't slow and frustrating enough before.
