Just a curiosity. In the dathomir fight, on auto, the special ability gets activated. So why doesn’t the special ability in the sith raid do the same thing.

Sure would make auto a little better (if the AI worked well).

I wouldn't trust the AI to decide when the best time is to use the special ability. Would you want your Resistance toon to pop the "shield" on their first turn in phase 1?

Depending on the phase, squad, and how the battle is going, there are very different appropriate times to use the special abilities in the sith raid. It's designed to be very complicated.

A simple linear event like this Dathomir event doesn't have a significant impact when you do or don't use the special abilities.
