Possibly a GW bug?
This may or may not have been addressed already but the daily mission "Embark on a Galactic War" can be completed if you simply enter your first battle but then retreat. Discovered this when I started with the wrong team comp and retreated. I would think that I would have to finish my first battle in order to meet the requirement, but hey, a free 25k and some shards and exp is nice
