I was thinking about all this talk of capital ships of late.
I think I'd like to see 3 ships added to the game.
1. Providence Class Destroyer/Carrier/Dreadnought w/ General Grievous (or Adm. Trench?) as CO.
2. New FO Star Destroyer (I forget the class name) with FOO (or Snoke?) as CO.
3. Resistance MC85 "Raddus" with Holdo as CO.
This would give each major faction 1 (or 2 Empire) flagship & basically just leave the BH/Scoundrels w/o a "Flagship" & really they don't need one since they are not a proper fleet to begin with.
This is dumb. I hate Jedi and Rebel scum! Give me GG!!!!
It's a prequels/Clone Wars cycle.
That's a prequels/Clone Wars ship. It should not be a huge surprise.
Also, just because one unit is coming to the game, it is not a decree that something else is not. "The Negotiator is coming," does not mean, "The Malevolence/Invisible Hand is not."
In the Escape Pod Cast's interview with Carrie that dropped yesterday, she did not confirm the Malevolence, but she did strongly imply it. So be patient. There's a lot of prequels content in the pipe.
Ouch. Malevolence is a BIG ship. Out of scale with the rest of them. I'd have preferred Invisible Hand myself. But nice to hear there is a Separatist ship in the works.
The post they did about ships heavily implies multiple flagships are coming. That may just mean two, but that still means more than just Negotiator.
That said, even if it didn’t mean more than Negotiator, if that was the only one—you do realize that there are more darkside capital ships right now, right? This one just evens it up to 3 per side.

Is there a 5th one already?
I count 2 per side, 3 original (1 Dark, 2 Light) and Chimera makes 4 (2 Dark)
Negotiator throws it off to the Light again. (3 Light, 2 Dark)
Or is there a 5th ship right now that I don't know about?

I've been playing this whole time without my 5th capital ship? Why didn't someone tell me?

Yup. Hounds Tooth is in fact a capital ship shrunk down to resemble a flying sardine can. Ever wonder why it's so darn durable? Well now you know.

AHAHAHAHAHA Oh, man, what a brain fart! Wow, I completely whiffed on that, didn't I?
Sorry, my bad, I spent a lot of the day in the sun yesterday. Must have fried my circuits and parts.

Or are you referring to the hints of Malevolence?

Ahhh....makes perfect sense now
It will make the light/dark to be even again.
Only CG knows....

I’m sorry but you’re wrong. Malevolence would be nice, but I’m glad we get GK as well.
I remember you as that one guy that only likes Dark Side and expects CG to create characters to your preferences.
Buffs "Valor" like Mace but uses it Offensively instead of Defensively? (Sounds similar to Tarkin's buff?)
Has 2 Escort Cruisers? (Maybe similar to Home One's call in the fleet AE ability?)
Has squadrons of Y-Wing Bombers (Sounds like Executrix's TIE Swarm?)
I get the feeling we will see a basic Laser Attack primary w/ the 3 specials having similar abilities to Executrix & Home one sort of.
But that is just my guess based on the tiny descriptions we have.
If I'm right it makes for a very different feeling ship for the Light Side for sure.
I am still working on Poe RP and Rey because of that
LOL at this point I think the community would welcome any new flagship
Only 2000? Your far behind my stache
