Daily shard challenge idea
New daily challenge rewards for Character / Ship shards available as an addition or rework to gold and training droid challenges
Day 1 / 4 Light side
Day 2 / 5 Dark side
Day 7 both challenges
Rewards would be 1-2 random shards which are currently available from hard nodes up to three times a day, with any characters already at 7* excluded to avoid duplicates.
If a player has finished one of the challenges (has all of that challenge type 7*) then the challenge would award from a bonus loot pool such as a chance for omegas or rare gear salvage etc. New Characters / Ships could be added every so often once they have been free to play accessible for a while.
The idea is to add an additional source of shards with offers constant progress towards older Characters / Ships and it would also reward players who have spent time or money to complete their collection with an extra ability / gear source.
