Grand arena didn't start for me
I signed up to Grand Arena. I even went in to check the status beforehand but when the event was due to start, instead of being matched up with an opponent, the banner states that there is no event active at this time.
The response from raising a support ticket was:
"...we have checked your account details and cross verified this issue with all the available information. It looks like an emerging issue, can I ask you to please post this issue on the Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes official forum, so that the studio team can look into this and they can correct this issue. Thanks for reporting this issue to us."
I've also clicked a 'me too' on someone else's report in the issues section. Not sure what else to do at the moment

I've been really hyped about grand arena championship the past few months since it was declared. Ive played every grand arena tourney, and only lost 2-3 matches so far (and at 2.8m gp, that's a real achievement). I love the mode, and strategize carefully to make it work every time. I've also been working hard to be ready for this championship, spending a ton of crystals to get darth revan in time, and speed gearing and zeta-ing my new 7* traya.
Alas, i'm a university student, and it's exam period. I just had a crazy tough exam today, and i was so busy before and after, that even though i played a few times and did my daily, i didn't notice the registration period and missed the first grand arena. The rewards for ga i can live without, even tho the FOMO feeling is strong with this one. But i'm sad that i'm out of the race this early on. In the week long exhibition i got a nice place without going too crazy, and i was really hoping to get competitive in this one. even did all my fleets today to work toward the victory feats.
So im sad. really sad. kinda feel like putting the game aside for a few months sad.

Is there a bug? Or am I just going crazy?
No doubt. I'm pretty OCD about joining and then checking mmthe feats...but maybe I didn't? I really don't know.
When I join ga, the first thing i do is check mode - 5v5, 3v3, ships or naught. I have no idea what this time's mode is, so i must have forgotten. Thanks for the kind words guys, I will join the next bracket i'm just saying the championship is kinda ruined for me, now that i can't be competitive in it
If not then maybe in future they could make it so that the feats are "unavailable until you join" which basically acts as a reminder message to you to "oi, join before you forget" type thing? (I joined fine, so no issue here, just thinking of others in future)
Is that true? So if you miss the first you can join rest later?
Yeah, that's kind of why I thought I had joined. I usually join and then check out the feats to see what they are.
Literally ZERO chance I didn't click it. This is a soul-crushing bug considering this is the one of only two events I actually care about in this game (other being Geo TB).
Edit-n/m I think the fleet GA posts were old. Still, positive I joined this one and it started without me. I checked it as recently as 10AM PST today, just 4 hours before player lock.
Support ticket: No known problems.
I reviewed your case and find that you didn't get any Grand event available to participate. I would like to inform you that we have received similar contacts from the other players as well, this is an emerging issue and its under investigation. We need this to be reported on forum, as most of our developers take their leads from the forums, so you should definitely post something up there. The more people you get to talk about the issues you are experiencing, the more the developers will take notice.
Solid work, but maybe leave out the #metoo hashtag, Sensitive times we're in.
