Allow Guild Name Changes in-game

Our guild recently decided to change our name. I created a guild on an alt to reserve the name until we were ready to change it. Disbanded that guild, and then called EA support.
Since then, I've spent about half an hour on the phone with EA support each day trying to get this name change processed. Apparently when I disbanded the guild being used to reserve the name it takes several days for the servers to recognize the guild as not existing anymore. This is taking a lot of my time.
PLEASE LET GUILD LEADERS CHANGE THE NAME OF THE GUILD IN-GAME
If the name is taken, simple error message and try again. Why do you make us contact your tech support to do this? Character name changes (potentially much easier to abuse) are able to be done easily in-game.
