GAC Battle Freezing

Exactly 1 minute into my first battle of the current GAC, everything slows down then completely freezes. With no luck getting it to unfreeze, I restart SWGOH and not only did it give me the L, but my opponent's characters are all full health and protection as if there was no battle even though I'd already killed one and done plenty of damage.
I opened a case with EA and they tell me to uninstall/reinstall the game. Thanks EA.
