Arena team development help

Hey all,
I am currently using a zPalp team with Vader, Thrawn, Tarkin, and TFP and can't crack top 1000. What team should I improve? I was thinking either
1. Improve my Palp team
2. shift over to a Bastila jedi squad (after next GMY event, bastilla, QGJ, GMY, OB, Jolee) or
3. Shift to cls squad (cls, r2d2, raid han, wiggs)

Or have i just been spreading my resources too thin (i.e. my gear just too low)?

If you can't break 1000 it's possible you need to work on mods, not toons.

@CCyrilS Thank you for your thoughts!! And ok... I've only been picking the recommended sets from swgoh.gg and maxing out the mod level without slicing so guess i should read up on mods.
