Cheating --> Banning Question

Question: If someone is banned for cheating or whatnot, does their account get noticeably removed from the game? Say, will a "so-and-so has left the guild" message be seen? After some of this "cheating" became known, we have had some players in our guild drop off the map by being totally inactive, but still are appearing in our guild roster--and these were regular, daily players. And then we've had others "...left the guild" with no other notice or reason. Just wondering if one or the other of them MAY have been part of the banned issues.

No there would be nothing noticable ingame except that they are inactive. the accounts are left to fade away.
But saying that a lot of people have quit the game recently so may not "All" be cheaters.
anyone that you get the message "left the guild " have actually left the guild of their own accord.
