Trick to get to top leader boards for FTP?

Is farming for a droid team the way us, free to play, get to the upper leader boards on PVP?

Not at all.

There is one Droid user left in my top 20 (Celes, Hi if you see this), and now I rarely ever see them because I imagine they are struggling on offence.

Could be, but it is not the best option.

It could get you there but it's hard to stay there.

QGJ+GS+Lumi+Sid+IG86 - easiest F2P to farm (all from different places) with good speed. It's a mess, synergistically though. That team will only work for early servers. Once people are levelling up and getting Dooku's and Rey's you need to switch out. That'll get you there the fastest though.

Sorry, I missed Information. I am currently rank 150 in arena, level 70 running a phasma L, greedo, dooku, sidious and luminara team.

It takes a long time to farm QGJ. A ftp only gets 5 shards a day.

Best way is to farm a team from GW and Arena shipments.
A team of Poggle, GS, IG88, IG86 and Sid is very easy to obtain and competitive.
GS - target rey and assist
Sid - AOE and place dots
Poggle - offence up
88 - AOE
86 - snipe with assist

Not at all. The way a FTP can get to the top takes a long while and may require having a bench to consistently win GW.

After that, save (50%? 30%?) of crystals until meta changes and adjust adapt to new meta strategically (exactly what to get and how much to refresh.

If you farm droids forget about competing in Arena, they are slowly being replaced with better things.
