He doesn't need the zeta to sacrifice himself, the zeta just gives gives some of his stats to other 501st clone allies. He will sacrifice even if his ability is at level 1

He sacrifices himself even without the zeta--the zeta just makes his sacrifice good. (Otherwise you're basically replacing his HP/Protection with the HP/Protection of Rex or Echo, which is going to be lower). Good luck!
(Also, for what it's worth, you get double credit if the character revives somehow. If your clones can reliably beat Nightsisters, go to town against the Zombie and finish this thing fast)

You didn't kill fives, he sacrificed himself, hence you did not get the kill
