Dispelling buffs is insanely useful, especially when you're running against teams that have mutiple taunters and/or are buff heavy. It allows you to play by your terms, rather than by their's. It may allow you to kill a toon slightly faster than normal, but a tank which doesnt protect its teamates is a bad tank. If the tank dies, its already done half its job by distracting you from killing more vulnerable units.
