General Skywalker vs. Darth Malak event!

1. Which event would be better to aim for in the long run?

General Skywalker's kit hasn't even been posted yet. How would you like to compare the two characters' long term viability?

It all depends on your own roster and what you do have at viable level for the events. Naturally for older accounts they need both if not in the first run, second or they will suffer for the lack of these 2 toons.

Both are worth it. Even if Gen Skywalker's kit destroys ALL other teams it is worth it to have the top two teams instead of just the best.

If you have nothing for either event, then General Skywalker's event requires a lot more farming.

IF you can't get General disarray his time around, I would focus your farming on the JKR-DR-MALAC path. There events will come back around much sooner then Anakin's ....

That said most the characters needed for both Epic Confrontations are useful.

General Anakin does require allot of different toons... 17 toons and 5 ships at 7star at a minimum by my count. C3P0 and Padme each require 5 specific toons to unlock. (however your able to use the some the same toons to unlock Padme and JKA.).

If you want to be efficient... your likely best off working on both at the same time, that way you can use up all your energy without having to refresh any node more then once.

The Epic Confrontation is designed to promote panic farming.... hence why you have a 5 day window... If your short shards, your only choice will be to buy packs.

Honestly if you were trying to be competitive end-game, you should already have most of the required toons at 7star.

General Skywalker's event will prepare you better for end game content such as geo tb, sith raid, light side geo tb, and the upcoming future ship raid. The characters for malak has alot of decent but underwhelming b team characters. I'd say farm for skywalker but otherwise whatever team you'd have the most fun farming for
