Settings: Change Time: Reset daily challenges, What advantages?

Hey,
because we had to change our clocks again (one hour back), I, for example, get my energy refreshes at 12:00 o’clock instead of 13:00 o’clock (1 pm) what was much better for me.
We got a function in the settings that allows us to change the time our daily activities get reset, but what does this actually cause?
Are there any changes to the shop e.g.?
Could someone help me to understand what this function actually changes?

It also allows players who move to change to a local timeframe for the above listed in game times
