General Hux in ep 7 was not to be trifled with, in episode 8 he was made to seem weak. Not sure what you 2 are smoking.

Based on absolutely nothing, I feel like he'll probably be a supercharged version of the Officer - minimal offense but great support abilities.

This video was made after ep.7 , Hux appears here at 0:38 sec and then again later at the end of the video. He was already not taken serious back then...

I understand you! I liked TLJ at least a little more than TFA, exactly because it was at least controversial and left you with some food for thought; re-canonized some Force abilities from the EU and such. It wasn't made to be liked by "everybody" and took some risks, which I can respect much more than just recycling OT stuff and hope it will catch the mainstream masses.

The point was that it doesn't make sense to complain about spoilers when Hux is an established character. This isn't like what happened with Nest.

Hux: too many spittles in Ep. 7, too few smarts in Ep. 8. His poor decisions would have earned him a choke-hold from Vader a la Admiral Ozzel, while Thrawn would have sent Rukh to remove him from command.
