How can ig-86 droid can dodge without a dodge rating or a leader that give him the ability to do so

Ive experience the dodge effect today in a squad fight and the leader was captain phasma so how come this thing happens if you dont call that cheating i wouldnt say the person name because somehow nobody care or they would say it not true i got ig-86 max out n it doesnt dodge at all so what going on

Every character has a minimum Dodge rating, it's just not displayed on the character screen. It's something like 7.5% ... Thus every character has a chance, though a small one, to dodge. Your 86 just wasn't lucky enough.
Also it's not possible to cheat in squad arena on defence.
